An Original Vintage Unfolded Subway Movie Poster (measures 45" x 59 1/4") (Learn More) The Ambushers, the 1967 Henry Levin science fiction (sci-fi) spy espionage comedy action thriller sequel ("Matt Helm rides again!"; "See these fabulous SLAYGIRLS in ACAPULCO ...dressed-to-kill by CASSINI!"; "They're all trying to get the best of Matt Helm in the best Matt Helm of all!"; "Based on the novel by Donald Hamilton"; "Screenplay by Herbert Baker") starring Dean Martin ("as Matt Helm"), Senta Berger, Janice Rule, James Gregory, Beverly Adams ("as Lovey Kravezit"), and "featuring the 'Slaygirls'" NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Robert McGinnis Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It received water staining across the bottom 2" of the poster, extending into the bottom border line and the bottom tagline in just a few places, but not reaching into the image at all. There was a 1" tear in the middle of the left border, a 1" tear in the background below the "A" of "MATT" in the tagline at top left and a few creases in the other borders. There are tiny water stains in the top right blank corner. Other than the defects noted above, the poster is in pretty nice condition (it was clearly never used and has a "crisp" feel to it!). If I owned this poster, I would surely have it professionally linenbacked to remove the water staining from the bottom border and to repair the tiny tear in the border and the one in the background, and after linenbacking, the poster will look fantastic, and the only restoration will be in the borders and bottom tagline area, and the one tiny area in the upper left white background!
