Some of her movies include: Abbott & Costello Go To Mars, She Devil, McLintock!, Twice-Told Tales, On the Riviera, The Unknown Man, and Something to Live For. Note that Blanchard's looks and 36-25-36 figure became the inspiration for cartoonist Al Capp in creating his voluptuous character "Stupefyin' Jones" for the popular "L'il Abner" comic strip! She passed away in 1970 at the age of 47 from cancer. Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Mari Blanchard! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic.
