An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" Movie Still (Learn More) The Cat and the Canary, the 1939 Elliott Nugent romantic horror mystery comedy ("The picture that will give your goose pimples goose pimples!"; "Chills, horrors and lots of fun!"; "Based on the Stage Play by John Willard") starring Bob Hope, Paulette Goddard, John Beal, Douglass Montgomery, Gale Sondergaard, Elizabeth Patterson, George Zucco, William Abbey (as "The Cat", a homicidal maniac!), and Nydia Westman. Note that this was a remake of the 1927 movie of the same name directed by Paul Leni, except that it has had comedy injected, to make a suitable movie for Bob Hope! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" (but does not appear to be trimmed). Please do not bid on this still thinking it is 8" x 10". Also note that there is a printed snipe on the back of the still, describing the scene on the front.
