What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster was printed in two pieces designed to overlap. The left piece was larger and roughly the size of an Italian one-panel, and the right piece was smaller (see our image for where the two panels joined). The poster had very minor fold and border wear. There was some small paper loss near the center of the poster at the top of the "I" of "IL" next to the word "FILM", but otherwise the poster was in really nice condition prior to linenbacking (especially considering its age).
