An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Nation Aflame, the 1937 Victor Halperin crime thriller ("A dynamic expose of a hooded menace!"; "From the Flaming Pen of Thomas Dixon Author of 'The Birth of a Nation' in collaboration with Oliver Drake"; similar to "The Black Legion", about the breaking up of a KKK-like group called "The Avenging Angels") starring Noel Madison, Lila Lee, Norma Trelvar, Douglas Walton, Harry Holman, and "a cast of thousands". Note that this movie was based on a novel by the author of "The Birth of a Nation", a book which glorified the KKK. It seems likely this book was written as a sort of apology for his earlier novel! Important Added Info: Note that first release 1937 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a single glass slide from this movie, but never any posters! Condition: good to very good. There is paper loss at the bottom crossfold, in between the girl's eyes. There are a few tiny tears in the bottom quarter of the vertical fold and separation and small paper loss at the middle crossfold, and tiny paper loss at the top crossfold, with a 1" vertical tear in the left of the top and bottom horizontal folds.
