The Legacy, the 1978 (released in the U.S. in 1979) Richard Marquand English/U.S. haunted house horror thriller ("It is a birthright of living death..."; "Evil beyond Exorcism..."; "We Dare you to discover 'the Legacy!'"; "Read the best selling novel from Berkley."; "Story by Jimmy Sangster"; about a group of people who are summoned to a rich Englishman's house, including two American architects, and as usual, people start dying one by one, and demonic possession occurs as well!) starring Katharine Ross, Sam Elliott, Roger Daltrey ("as Clive"), Charles Gray, Lee Montague, Hildegard Neil, Margaret Tyzack, John Standing, and Ian Hogg.
