An Original 1961 (from the first release of this movie in Spain) Vintage Theatrical Spanish Movie Herald (measures 3 3/4" x 5 3/4" [10 x 15 cm]) (Learn More) La Casa del Terror (literally translates to "House of Terror"), the 1960 Gilberto Martinez Solares Mexican werewolf monster horror comedy (about a man working as a night watchman for a scientist trying to revive the dead, one of which is a mummy who turns out to be a werewolf) starring German Valdez (billed as "Tin-Tan"), Yolanda Varela, Lon Chaney Jr. (playing both the mummy AND the werewolf!), Yerye Beirute, Ortiz De Pinedo, and Consuelo Guerrero de Luna. Note the movie was released in the U.S., but we believe it was solely released under the original Spanish title. We once sold a Spanish language pressbook from the movie, and it shows posters with the original title, but it is clearly a U.S. pressbook, and at the top it says "Los Angeles - San Antonio - Denver - Chicago - New York", so we imagine it played solely in those cities in Spanish under the original title, because they had large Spanish speaking populations. If anyone knows more about this U.S. release, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Jose Montalban Saiz Important Added Info: Note that when Spanish heralds have printing on the back, we picture both sides, but when they are blank on the back, we only picture the front. Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
