An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 26 1/2" x 38 1/2") (Learn More) Into Little America: Capitol of the Unknown (also released simply as "Little America"), the 1935 Frances March & Ewing Scott Antarctica penguin South Pole adventure documentary ("Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd's second great Antarctic expedition into 'Little America' Capitol of the Unknown"). Note that in 1930 Robert J. Flaherty & F.W. Murnau created a documentary called "With Byrd at the South Pole" and it was released by Paramount pictures. This movie was created 5 years later and was clearly a sequel to the first film, but this movie was directed by Frances March & Ewing Scott and documented Byrd's second trip to the South Pole in 1934 and it was also released by Paramount Pictures. Note that the posters for this movie have a very large "Little America" on them with a tiny "into" above it, so it is often incorrectly referred to as "Little America" (we have been guilty of this in the past!). If you have any other information for this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. Note that this one-sheet has had some of its left, right, and top borders trimmed (blank white paper only), and approximately 2 1/2" of the bottom of the poster has been trimmed off (cutting off the studio information and small writing) and it now measures 26 1/2" x 38 1/2".
