He was primarily in Broadway shows, but he appeared in some movies as well, including: Boccaccio '70, South Pacific, and La Dolce Vita. He had "The Archie Savage Trio" in 1944, appearing in "Jammin' the Blues", and he also helped create what is now known as the "Afro-Cuban Dance Forum". Savage passed away in 2003 at the age of 88. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Archie Savage! There is a blue stub stapled to the top of the contract so we have photographed it with the blue stub as it is, and with the blue stub lifted up so you can see what is under it. Note that some contracts have Social Security numbers on them, and when they do, we obscure them in our digital image. Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia collector and dealer from the 1970s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity (unless noted above). Condition: very good to fine.
