2 Original Undated (possibly 1960s; from the first release of this movie in South America) Vintage Theatrical South American Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 13 1/4" x 16 1/2" [34 x 42 cm]) (Learn More)

Bronenosets Potyomkin (released in the U.S. as "The Battleship Potemkin"), the classic 1925 Sergei Eisenstein Russian Revolution silent military war thriller (considered by many to be in the handful of greatest movies ever made; the movie includes the famous Odessa steps sequence) starring Ivan Bobrov, Beatrice Vitoldi, N. Poltavseva, Aleksandr Antonov, and Vladimir Barsky
Important Added Info: Note that these lobby cards (which measure 13 1/4" x 16 1/2" [34 x 42 cm]) have been mounted to a heavy board backing (similar to the way Swiss and some Spanish lobby cards are made) and there is a metal grommet in each corner to make them easier to display. Note that we are only calling these "South American", because they came to us from South America. But they could be from another country (we just don't know). They are in Portuguese so they could have been used in any Portuguese-speaking area. Please do not bid on these cool cards unless you can accept the uncertainty of their origin and when they are from (we put 1960s, but that is totally a guess).

Condition: fair to good.
