Ariane, Jeune Fille Russe (released in English-speaking countries as "Ariane", "The Loves of Ariane" and "Love in the Afternoon"), the 1920 Jean Schopfer (French tennis player who used the pseudonym 'Claude Anet') romantic melodrama book detailing a woman falling in love with a Don Juan! Note that this book has been adapted to film several times, most notably in 1957 with Audrey Hepburn and Gary Cooper!
