What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had partial extra folds, with creases scattered down the center, and many creases at the crossfold, unfortunately in Palance's chin and mouth. It also had creases and tears around the edges, with paper loss in the corners. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
