An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) It's a Great Life, the 1929 Sam Wood sisters romantic musical comedy (about sisters who work in a department store and they perform in a show at the store, and a man helps them to be a success by joining in, but then, after they have great success on stage, the man wants to leave town with one of the sisters, and will she desert her sister?) starring Rosetta Duncan, Vivian Duncan (billed as "The Duncan sisters"), Lawrence Gray, Benny Rubin, and Jed Prouty. Note that Rosetta and Vivian were often billed as "The Duncan Sisters", and they starred in an adaptation of "Uncle Tom's Cabin" called "Topsy & Eva". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two jumbo lobby cards, a glass slide, and some stills from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this lobby card! Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Condition: good to very good. There is darkening in the right blank border and the right of the top blank border, with some tiny stains in the left of the bottom blank border. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition.
