An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 10" x 13" [25 x 33 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) For Me and My Gal, the 1942 Busby Berkeley New York City Broadway theater stage acting romantic musical ("Greatest musical show ever to thrill your heart!"; "Screen play by Richard Sherman, Fred Finklehoffe and Sid Silvers"; "Original Story by Howard Emmett Rogers") starring Judy Garland, George Murphy, Gene Kelly, Martha Eggerth, Ben Blue, and Richard Quine. Note that this was Gene Kelly's very first movie, but because he was already a Broadway dancing star, he was given a lead role in his first time out! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this great still was purchased from Rock Hudson's personal collection of photographs and has a certificate of authenticity with it that attests to this fact. Note that this still measures 10" x 13" [25 x 33 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Note that this is one of a remarkable collection of 201 "oversized" stills we are auctioning this week. All of the stills measure greater than 8" x 10", and most measure 11" x 14". Many are deluxe (printed on a heavy weight paper stock), and many are stamped or embossed with the names of famous photographers of the time. This is surely the finest collection of such stills we have ever offered!
