An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Saps at Sea, the 1940 Gordon Douglas seafaring sailor screwball comedy (produced by Hal Roach) starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy (Laurel and Hardy), Charlie Hall, Ben Turpin, Harry Hayden, and Richard Cramer (billed as "Dick Cramer"). Note that this was the last movie that Laurel and Hardy made with Hal Roach.

Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned two in all our years of auctioning and the last time was in 1997! While the poster has unfortunate paper loss at lower right that slightly extends into the end of the title, we can provide the winning bidder a digital image of the complete poster, which will greatly aid the restorer replacing that area. Once the poster is properly backed, it will display wonderfully, but bear in mind its defects before bidding.

Condition: fair. There is paper loss in the bottom right (see above and our super-sized image.) There are also tack holes around the edges, separation at the crossfolds and creases, smudges and faint stains scattered throughout.
