Cline (billed as Eddie Cline) silent juvenile young-boy-runs-away-to-join-the-circus comedy ("Jackie Coogan and a circus all in one wonderful picture"; "Adapted from James Otis' celebrated story 'Toby Tyler Ten Weeks with a Circus'"; "Presented by Sol Lesser") starring Jackie Coogan (as Toby Tyler), Barbara Tennant, Russell Simpson, Claire McDowell, Cesare Gravina (as Luigi, the clown), and Nellie Lane (as the "Fat Woman"). Note that this movie was remade by Walt Disney in 1960 as "Toby Tyler or Ten Weeks with a Circus", starring Kevin Corcoran. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a "double" insert, a half-sheet (in much lesser condition), two lobby cards, and a few stills (and NO other movie paper items) from this movie until we received this window card, which has a FAR better image than any of those other items! Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: very good to fine. The card has slight darkening and minor wear around the edges but is otherwise in really nice condition, and it has had no restoration! Learn More about condition grades
