An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Campaign Book (measures 11" x 15" [28 x 38 cm]; 36 pages) (Learn More) United Artists 25, the 1976 United Artists campaign book featuring 35 pages of movie cast listings and short synopses from films that were in production at the time, including a few from MGM, because United Artists was distributing MGM movies and would later merge with them! Some of the films listed include Raging Bull, Rocky, Apocalypse Now, Carrie, The Spy Who Loved Me, and Network! Note that oddly, this is advertised as being from the 25th anniversary of United Artists, which they say occurred on December 31, 1975, but that would mean the studio started in 1950, when actually it started decades earlier, so we don't know what accounting trick they were using to say that they started in 1950! Note that this was distributed through Variety Magazine, and it has "ADVERTISING SUPPLEMENT TO VARIETY" printed at the top. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
