8 Original 1969 Vintage Theatrical Mini Lobby Cards (8x10 LCs; measures 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm]) (Learn More)

Il Dolce corpo di Deborah (released in the U.S. in 1969 as "The Sweet Body of Deborah"), the 1968 Romolo Guerrieri French/Italian giallo horror thriller ("Riddle, riddle, Debbie in the middle. Surprise, surprise, guess who dies?"; "There is no such thing as a kiss of Death. Or is there?") starring Carroll Baker (in the title role as Deborah), Jean Sorel, Evelyn Stewart, Luigi Pistilli, and George Hilton ("as Robert"). Note that Carroll Baker had had a significant career in U.S. movies, starting with "Baby Doll" in 1954 and continuing through "Harlow" in 1965. But after that, good parts in the U.S. became scarce, and she made an Italian/Spanish movie, "L'Harem", and apparently liked it, because she moved to Europe, where she spent several years making mostly Italian and German movies, before getting married in 1982.

Important Added Info: Note that these stills appear in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right of each still. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the stills were printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that they WERE printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So they are original stills from 1968, but they were printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good.
