Come on! Buy More Liberty Bonds, the 1918 U.S. World War I (WWI) War Bond poster encouraging citizens to purchase Liberty Bonds, and featuring Walter Whitehead artwork of a stoic American solder holding a rifle with bayonet and standing over a dead German soldier.

Artist: Walter Whitehead

Condition: good. The poster was never folded. It has many light and fine creases scattered throughout and there are some creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges (see our image). A larger tear at lower center is repaired with tape from the back and front. The art is otherwise "mostly all there" and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
