Set of 4 Original Vintage Theatrical Door Panel Movie Posters (measures 20" x 60") (Learn More) The Sons of Katie Elder, the 1965 Henry Hathaway family relationship cowboy western ("From the four winds they came, the four brothers, their eyes smoking and their fingers itching..."; "If Texas couldn't tame 'em - could she?"; "A western to begin all westerns from the maker of 'Gunfight at the O.K. Corral', 'Last Train From Gun Hill'"; "Based upon a story by Talbot Jennings") starring John Wayne ("as John Elder"), Dean Martin ("as Tom Elder"), Martha Hyer ("as Mary Gordon"; "If Texas couldn't tame 'em -- could she?"), Michael Anderson Jr. (as Bud Elder), Earl Holliman (as Matt Elder), Jeremy Slate, George Kennedy, Dennis Hopper, and Paul Fix NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good to fine. these door panels are in really excellent condition! They are completely unfolded. The panels with Dean Martin and Michael Anderson Jr. have only the slightest of defects. The panel of Martha Hyer has discoloration down the top 15" of the right blank border and small tears and creases down the top 8". The panel of John Wayne has discoloration on the back of the top 7" of the poster and very slight smudges in the white area at the top of the poster. The Wayne panel has two pieces of masking tape on the back of the top center, in those same top 7", but those pieces of tape do not have any effect on the front. I think it is very unlikely that a set of these door panels survives in equal condition to this set! Learn More about condition grades
