An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 39" x 81") (Learn More)

La rivolta dei gladiatori (released in the U.S. in 1959 as "The Warrior and the Slave Girl"), the 1958 Vittorio Cottafavi French/Italian/Spanish sword-and-sandal gladiator romantic action adventure epic ("The Screen's Mightiest!") starring Gianna Maria Canale, Georges Marchal, Ettore Manni, Rafael Luis Calvo, Mara Cruz, "and a cast of thousands!". Note that this is one of hundreds of sword and sandal "peplum" movies made in Italy in the 1950s and 1960s, and it is regarded as one of the very best of these!

Important Added Info: This three-sheet was printed in 2 sections. Also note that this poster has been trimmed and now measures approximately 39" x 81".

Condition: good to very good. approximately 2" has been trimmed from the left edge of the poster; 1" hole and area of surface paper loss right of the bottom edge of the image background; areas of tattering, discoloration, and paper loss around the edges and along the foldlines (see the image at right); separation at some of the crossfolds as well as some tears along the foldlines and around the edges of the poster; creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the poster (more so along the foldlines); pairs of staple holes scattered throughout the poster (some enlarged or torn from rough removal); Please do not bid on this poster unless you are willing to accept its defects or are willing to have it restored!
