Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Rhapsody in Brew, the 1933 Billy Gilbert alcohol beer musical comedy short (produced by Hal Roach; about the Smaltz Brothers who are tricked into buying a beer garden; note the title is a parody of "Rhapsody in Blue"!) starring Billy Gilbert, Billy Bletcher, Charlie Hall, Sammy Brooks, Stanley Blystone, and "80 Hal Roach dancing beauties" NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This poster has been professionally linenbacked. It now looks great, and most dealers would describe it as "fine (or mint) on linen". We have noted the defects that were restored below (and feel everyone should always do this!). Many collectors would not be aware of the restoration this poster has had unless it was specifically shown to them! Condition: very good to fine. The poster was in great condition prior to linenbacking (especially considering its age). It did require restoration down the top of the vertical foldline and tiny restoration on the other folds. The poster looks wonderful!. Most of the linenbacked posters we sell were restored by the finest professionals. An expertly linenbacked poster will often appear "mint", as its defects have been made to "vanish".
