John Lennon Live in New York City, the 1986 straight-to-video release ("Never Before Seen"; "A blockbuster video cassette pays tribute to the dream that's still alive."; from a 1972 rock 'n' roll music concert) featuring music by John Lennon, Elephant's Memory, Stevie Wonder, Roberta Flack, and Sha-na-na. Note that this video was released simultaneously with the album of the same name, but it did not play theatrically. Yoko Ono was criticized for making it appear that she was as significant a component of the album as John Lennon was, but in fact, several of her songs that are shown in the video were cut from the album.
