Tales from the Crypt, the 1989 - 1996 HBO horror mystery comedy thriller television (TV) series featuring the voice of John Kassir (as Crypt Keeper), and starring Roy Brocksmith, Miguel Ferrer, Cam Clarke, Larry Drake, Bobcat Goldthwait, Lance Henriksen, and many, many more! Note that the show's title is based on the 1950s EC Comics series of the same name and much of the content originated in that comic or other EC Comics (E.C. Comics) of the time.

Important Added Info: Studio issued transparency released by the studio for publicity purposes at the time of the original release. Includes original sleeve from the network!

Note that this is a "studio-issued" transparency that was produced by the studio but is not the camera original. What is a transparency? They are produced by the studio and are very high quality and were created in quantity and sent to media outlets or other places that had need of the very highest quality image for reproduction purposes (in newspapers, magazines, or elsewhere). A clear border around a 4x5 transparency denotes duplication from a negative source, a black border denotes duplication from a positive source. This transparency is in the original paper sleeve from HBO (but we removed it and scanned it, so that bidders could see just how high quality it is). It will be sent to the winner of the auction in the paper sleeve, which has a studio-created snipe attached to it that explains about the transparency (see our image).
