An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (measures 12" x 15"; 24 pages) (Learn More) The Bride Wore Boots, the 1946 Irving Pichel horse racing sports gambling romantic love triangle marriage comedy ("She's an outdoor girl learning to love an indoor sport!"; "It's Romance at its riotous best...."; "Marriage at its raciest...."; "When Bob catches Babs with her boots off!"; based on the play by Harry Segall) starring Barbara Stanwyck, Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), Diana Lynn, Patric Knowles, Peggy Wood, Robert Benchley, Willie Best, and Natalie Wood (unbilled on the posters, and in her second credited role!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: fine. This pressbook is in excellent UNCUT condition! It is complete and uncut, which is unusual, since the purpose of pressbooks was for theaters to cut out one or more of the ads and use them in their local newspapers. In addition to being in excellent condition, it is important to note that it has also never been folded, which is also unusual, as almost all larger pressbooks were folded in half so that they could be more easily transported.
