An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures 30" x 40") (Learn More) Neon Bible, the 1995 Terence Davies English coming-of-age family relationship rural South melodrama ("Based on the novel by John Kennedy Toole"; about a young Georgia farm boy in the 1940s whose father deserts the family, and he is raised by his mother and aunt) starring Gena Rowlands, Denis Leary, Diana Scarwid, Jacob Tierney (playing the lead character at age 15), and Drake Bell (best known for his starring role on Nickelodeon's "Drake and Josh", in his second movie, playing the lead character at age 10). Note that this movie was based on a book by John Kennedy Toole, author of "A Confederacy of Dunces". Neither book was published during his lifetime, but he committed suicide in 1969 and his mother was able to get "A Confederacy of Dunces" published, and after that book sold millions of copies, the manuscript for this story, which was written when Toole was 16, was also published, and was adapted into this movie (although "A Confederacy of Dunces" has never been made into a movie).
