If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that it is very hard to say when this poster is from. It is surely from the first Italian release, but whether that release occurred before the U.S. entered World War II, or after the war is hard to say. But because the poster originally measured 36 1/2" x 53", we think it is much more likely it is from 1940, because the Italian posters we have seen from that time have been odd sizes (sometimes one-sheet size) and it doesn't seem like the "one-panel" size of 39" x 55" became standard until the late 1940s. Someone added paper to this poster to make it measure 39" x 55", which makes us think that it was used in 1940 and then reused again at a later time. We are listing it as being from 1940 and we feel certain it is from either 1940, or possibly from 1945 to 1949. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: fair. The poster originally measured 36 1/2" x 53". Someone took tape and paper from another poster and added to the bottom and right of the poster to make it 39" x 55" . What was affected was mostly the blank borders. The entire poster had darkened and had some stains and there was tape on the back of the left border. There is a large area at the top left where some sort of credits were marked over. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored. Learn More about condition grades
