A 1949 Re-Release Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Monkey Business, the 1931 Norman Z. McLeod cruise-ship-stowaway seafaring slapstick comedy ("The Four Marx Brothers"; about the four brothers stowing away on a transatlantic cruise ship; concepts from this movie were reused in A Night at the Opera and Room Service) starring the Marx Brothers (Groucho Marx, Harpo Marx, Chico Marx, and Zeppo Marx), Rockliffe Fellowes, Harry Woods, Thelma Todd, Ruth Hall, and Billy Barty

Important Added Info: Note that Paramount re-released the early 1930s Marx Bros movies in 1949. The person who prepared the stills was obviously NOT as Marx Bros fan, because this one, with the classic kippered herring image, was labeled for "Horse Feathers", when the scene is actually from "Monkey Business". Rather than waste the stills by throwing them out, someone at the studio had snipes prepared, which they glued over the incorrect information at the bottom (this was done for every still, one by one, by hand!). Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm].

Condition: very good. There is a studio-issued corrective credits snipe glued over the entire bottom border (see our image).
