An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Johnny Cash (nicknamed "The Man in Black") was a singer-songwriter, actor and author from the 1950s to the 2000s. Although he is primarily remembered as a country music icon, his music spanned many genres including rock 'n' roll (rock and roll), blues, folk, and gospel. This led to Cash being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Some of his movies include: All My Friends Are Cowboys, A Gunfight, and Five Minutes to Live. He passed away in 2003 at the age of 71, just a few months after his wife June Carter. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Johnny Cash! Note that this signed item is from the estate of Gino Empry, who was a legendary Toronto publicist and agent from the early 1960s through the early 2000s (he passed away in 2006). He had publicity photos of celebrities he worked with that were personalized to him and signed attached to his walls, and many of those were consigned to us, and while we have no certificate of authenticity, we are 100% certain they are authentic (although many have some damage that was caused by their being attached to a wall or being roughly removed). Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
