An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Crash, the 1928 Edward F. Cline (billed as "Eddie Cline") silent railroad train romantic melodrama (about an Irish railroad man in love with a beautiful free spirited woman, and she marries him, but his jealousy causes her to leave, and she has a baby while she is gone, and at the climax of the movie, he rescues her from a train wreck) starring Milton Sills, Thelma Todd, Wade Boteler, William Demarest, Fred Warren, Sylvia Ashton, and DeWitt Jennings. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. There is a small red mark in the left of the blank play dates area. The cardboard holder has staining around the staples, but otherwise it is in pretty nice condition.
