An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Movie Window Card (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) The Air Circus, the 1928 Howard Hawks & Lewis Seiler (billed as "Lew Seiler") romantic love triangle airplane aviation pilot action adventure thriller ("Young America flies to conquer"; "Story by Graham Baker and Andrew Bennison"; about two flight school cadets who vie for the affections of a beautiful girl, who turns out to be a champion pilot!; there is a spectacular scene where Rollins rescues Carol and Lake from a disabled plane in mid-air) starring Sue Carol, Louise Dresser, David Rollins, Arthur Lake, and Heinie Conklin. Note that this was director Howard Hawks' first airplane movie; it was thought lost for many years, but a silent version was found in the 1970s (although it was originally a partial talkie, the talking sequences are still lost). Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this window card! Condition: good to very good. The card had a 3" tear in the left border that was repaired with tape from the back and there is also tape on the back of three tears in the right of the bottom border, and on the back of a 1 1/2" tear in the lower left border.
