An Autographed 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" [10 x 13 cm] Album Page (Learn More) Buster Keaton ("The Great Stone Face") was an actor from the 1900s to the 1960s. He was (along with Charlie Chaplin) one of the two most famous comedians in silent movies, and he continued to make sound movies as well. He has too many wonderful movies to list, but some of his movies include: The General, Sherlock Jr., The Cameraman, and he made a very memorable final cameo appearance in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. He passed away in 1966 at the age of 70. Important Added Info: This album page has been personally autographed (signed) by Buster Keaton! It could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! The back of the autograph page has the words "Have Gun - Will Travel" on it, and there was once something taped to the back, but we don't know what that was, and we did not picture the back, because it does not have an autograph. Note that this signed item was consigned to us from the personal collection of Johnny Crawford, who first came to fame as the son in the TV series "The Rifleman" and later became a band leader loved movies, and early on he collected many movie stills and more! He did not have a certificate of authenticity, but we think it is incredibly likely that the autograph is authentic. Condition: good to very good. The person who obtained the autograph taped the ticket stub from where he met Mr. Keaton (at a 1957 show) and the tape has aged and yellowed and dried out. So the ticket stub is now loose, but we put it back on the card where it was so that the tape on the ticket is over the tape stains. You can see that the tape stains do not interfere with the autograph, so obviously, that portion of the page could be trimmed off to just around the autograph, or one could leave it as it is and matte over it, or even trim it, but that will be the choice of the new owner.
