'Carry On Teacher'"; "The newest of those 'Carry-On' howl-makers and the most hilarious!"; "You roared at 'Carry on Sergeant'! Howled at 'Carry on Nurse'! You'll be convulsed by 'Carry on Teacher'!"; "The howlingest, blushingest lesson in physical education!"; "It's the 3-R fun hit of all time! Rowdy! Risque! Riotous!") starring Kenneth Connor, Charles Hawtrey, Leslie Phillips, Joan Sims, Kenneth Williams, Hattie Jacques, Rosalind Knight, and Ted Ray. Note that this was one of a very popular series of 30 "Carry On..." sexploitation movies that were made in England between 1958 (the first one was "Carry On Sergeant") and 1978 (at that point, it became a TV series, and there was one final theatrical movie in 1992)! We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this is a "country of origin" poster for this English movie! Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 29 3/4" x 39 1/4" [76 x 100 cm]. Also note that this poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great! Finally, note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster was slightly trimmed around the edges and then kraftbacked (see above). There is a censor stamp at upper right and there is a snipe at upper left (see our image). There is general fold and border wear and a few light scuffs. After proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it. Learn More about condition grades
