Barton monster horror spoof comedy ("It's a grand New idea for Fun!"; the eighth Universal Frankenstein movie, and this time they added their #1 comedy team to both liven up the series, and to inject comedy; many people fondly remember this as their favorite of the 1940s Frankenstein movies!; "Jeepers! The Creepers are after Bud and Lou!"; "The laughs are MONSTERous! Bud and Lou are in a stew when they tangle with the Titans of Terror!"; "The monsters of menace vs the masters of Mirth!") starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Lon Chaney Jr. ("The Wolf Man played by Lon Chaney"), Bela Lugosi (returning as Dracula after being long absent from the role; "Dracula played by Bela Lugosi"), Glenn Strange (in the title role, playing the Frankenstein monster; "The Monster played by Glenn Strange"), Lenore Aubert, Jane Randolph, Frank Ferguson, Charles Bradstreet, and Vincent Price (in a cute cameo, as the voice of The Invisible Man at the end of the movie!) Important Added Info: Note that this poster has a completely different image to that of the first release one-sheet! Just about every collector agrees that this poster has a superior image to the 1948 one-sheet, which had smaller "cartoony" images. Condition: good. The poster was hand-folded vertically slightly off-center. It has staining, creases, tears and pieces of tape around the edges with paper loss in the lower left blank corner. There are some scuffs and stains scattered in the poster, and there is a tear and small paper loss at lower left (to the left of the credits). There are some large, substantial diagonal creases scattered through the right half (see our image). Obviously, this poster can be restored, and it will display great after proper restoration, but bear in mind its defects (and look at our super-sized image) before bidding on it.
