Artist: Roger Kastel Important Added Info: Note that this is surely one of the absolute most desirable one-sheets of the 1970s, and people put a high premium on finding one in nicer condition. The vast majority of the known examples of this poster are fully folded, but a few are tri-folded only, and a very few are completely unfolded. This example is completely unfolded and in wonderful condition (and it is absolutely an original one-sheet from 1975, and we give a lifetime guarantee on that, as we do on every poster we auction!). It has a wonderful history behind it! In 2018 we were contacted by a consignor who was related to a man who worked for Universal in the 1970s. They sent us an unfolded Jaws one-sheet in great condition that the man had received directly from Universal, and we auctioned it and it sold for $2,225. Later in 2018 they consigned a second example and we auctioned it for $3,715. In August 2019 we were consigned a third example and it sold for $4,100. Now the consignor has sent us their final example (they had four to begin with), and we are auctioning this last one! So if you have wanted to purchase this poster unfolded and in excellent condition, this may be your last change for a long time, because this poster is extremely difficult to find unfolded and in nice condition!
