He first rose to fame with hillbilly radio routines including "What It Was, Was Football" and "Romeo and Juliet", before finding great success on TV. While his most defining roles were in TV's "The Andy Griffith Show" and "Matlock", he also guest starred in numerous other TV shows and had some fine movie appearances including: A Face in the Crowd, No Time For Sergeants, and Waitress. He passed away in 2012 at the age of 86. Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Andy Griffith! Our consignor is a dealer who has acquired many autographed items over many decades. He enjoys finding an item with a good image of that star to "pair" it with, so that the owner can frame the signed item together with the item with the good image. Included with the signed item is the April 24-30, 1964 issue of TV Guide with Andy Griffith on the cover. The items could be matted together to create a cool display! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good.
