Finklehoffe") starring Claudette Colbert, Fred MacMurray, Marjorie Main (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film; as Ma Kettle), Louise Albritton, Percy Kilbride (as Pa Kettle), Billy House, and Richard Long. Note that the minor characters in this movie, Ma & Pa Kettle, proved to be so popular that they were given their own movie two years after this one, and there was a long running series of hillbilly "Kettles" comedies!
