20 Original 1926 Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More)

Bronenosets Potyomkin (released in the U.S. as "The Battleship Potemkin"), the classic 1925 Sergei Eisenstein Russian Revolution silent military war thriller (considered by many to be in the handful of greatest movies ever made; the movie includes the famous Odessa steps sequence) starring Ivan Bobrov, Beatrice Vitoldi, N. Poltavseva, Aleksandr Antonov, and Vladimir Barsky
Important Added Info: Note that these stills include great images from the movie, including four great ones from the Odessa Steps sequence. Also note that our consignor purchased these stills from a seller in Seattle many years ago, and they were in with stills from the 1920s and 1930s. He believes that they came from a closed down Seattle movie theater and they are likely from the first Seattle showing of the movie, which would have been in 1926 or soon after. The stills are undated, but we are listing them as being from 1926, but do not bid on them unless you can accept the uncertainty as to when they are from.

Condition: good to very good. The stills have changed to a sepia color and they have some minor wear around the edges (see our images).
