Howard Hawks' Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, the classic 1953 Howard Hawks romantic musical son-of-rich-man-loves-beautiful-wacky-showgirl-and-his-father-does-everything-to-break-them-up comedy ("The two M-M-Marvels of our age in the wonder musical of the world!"; "Based on the musical Comedy by Joseph Fields and Anita Loos"; "Music and Lyrics by Jule Styne and Leo Robin"; "Presented on the Stage by Herman Levin and Oliver Smith") starring Jane Russell (as Dorothy Shaw), Marilyn Monroe (as Lorelei Lee), Charles Coburn (as Sir Francis 'Piggy' Beekman), Elliot Reid, Tommy Noonan, George Winslow (the little boy with the super deep voice, billed as "George 'Foghorn' Winslow"), Marcel Dalio, Taylor Holmes, Norma Varden, Howard Wendell, and Steven Geray

Important Added Info: Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)!

Condition: fair, WITH CUTS. There are two large ads cut from page 3/4, which caused razor cuts on the front cover (see our image) and a very large area cut from page 21/22. There are also faint stains and smudges scattered on the covers and wear along the spine, but the poster images on the back cover still display well. Please do not bid on this pressbook unless you can accept its defects described above.
