Charlie McCarthy, Detective, the 1939 Frank Tuttle ventriloquist newspaper journalism reporter murder mystery crime screwball comedy ("Original story by Robertson White and Darrell Ware"; about a newspaper editor and a mobster who are murdered, and a reporter is suspected, and another reporter asks his friend Edgar Bergen to solve the murder, with "help" from his dummy Charlie McCarthy!) starring Edgar Bergen & Charlie McCarthy (who wears a Sherlock Holmes-like outfit, including hat, throughout the movie!), Mortimer Snerd, Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), Constance Moore, John Sutton, Louis Calhern, Edgar Kennedy, Warren Hymer, Samuel S. Hinds, Harold Huber, and Ray Turner

Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 10 3/4" x 13 3/4" [27 x 35 cm]. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. A tiny bit of the left and bottom blank borders were neatly trimmed off. Otherwise, the card is in excellent condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
