Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned three examples of this one-sheet in all our years of auctioning, and the last one was 7 years ago, when it sold for $1,166! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some smudges and scuffs on parts of most folds, with separation in the top 6" of the vertical fold and in the bottom 6" of the vertical fold, with a 1" tear at a diagonal at the top of that. There were smudges around the edges and the entire poster had darkened somewhat, more so in the outer edges of the blank borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
