Important Added Info: Note that this is one of a collection of ten Swedish posters we were consigned by a very longtime western collector. Nine of the Swedish posters are from Hoot Gibson cowboy movies and one is from a Tom Mix cowboy movie. All were backed decades ago on a thin linen, and are generally in pretty nice condition. This is a rare opportunity to purchase one or more of these very rare posters (they are in ten separate auctions). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss and tears on parts of some folds. It had a U-shaped tear at the top crossfold and a few tears around the edges. Someone wrote "(?)" in the left of the bottom border, because they did not know the English title. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
