An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Double-Sided One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 40" [69 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) THX is a high-fidelity audio/visual reproduction standard for commercial and residential applications. THX was developed by Tomlinson Holman at Lucasfilm in 1983 to ensure that the soundtrack for the third Star Wars film (Return of the Jedi) would be accurately reproduced. THX is well-known to film patrons for the distinctive rising tone, known as the Deep Note, that plays when the THX logo is shown. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet measures 27" x 40" [69 x 102 cm]. Also note that this is a double-sided poster. From the 1990s on, movie posters were often made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided. Note that the image on the reverse is a mirror image of the image on the front! Condition: good.
