An Unfolded French Travel Poster (measures 24 1/4" x 39" [62 x 99 cm]) (Learn More)

French National Railroads (Societe Nationale Des Chemins De Fer Francais or S.N.C.F.), the French travel poster ("For traveling in France the railway is the right way"; "Visit France by train"; "Discover France by train") made by the S.N.C.F to encourage travel by the French National Railroad. Each poster features a wonderful image or art of one of the many locations that the railroad visits. The SNCF was founded in 1938 with the nationalization of France's main railway companies.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this poster!

Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has faint tape stains in the lower right corner and paper loss in the bottom left blank corner. It has paper loss and surface paper loss in the top corners, where tape was removed, but it only slightly affects the blue background area. Other than the above, the poster is in pretty nice condition.
