An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Bride and the Beast, the 1958 Adrian Weiss jungle horror thriller ("Human mate for jungle brutes!"; "A Human mate for gargantuan brutes!"; "Please Don't Tell What Happens To The Bride!"; "Out of the night comes the spine-chilling mating call of the monster gorillas... And a human bride becomes the enslaved victim of jungle brutes!"; "Enslaved by gargantuan monsters of the jungle!"; "See It At Your Own Risk!"; "But don't tell what happens to the bride!"; "Can you take it? Will your heart and nerves stand the shocks of the strangest of all horrors?" "Screenplay by Edward D. Wood Jr.") starring Lance Fuller, Charlotte Austin, Johnny Roth, William Justine, Jeanne Gerson, and Ray Corrigan (uncredited as "Spanky the wife-stealing gorilla"!). Note that Crash Corrigan made a REALLY wise investment in the 1930s, when he bought a "gorilla suit". In many of the movies in the 1940s where there is a fake gorilla, it is played by Crash Corrigan, no doubt because he could supply the suit! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. There are two horizontal creases 1/4" apart just above the top tagline and three horizontal creases 1/4" apart across the bottom of the image just below the title (it looks like somebody was trying to fold the poster to fit a frame, and could not decide what part of the edges of the image they were willing to have folded back, so they did it over and over; it sounds like something Ed Wood himself would have done!). There are many tiny pinholes around the edges of the poster (apparently, it did not occur to the person doing the "pinning" that they could ever re-use the same pinhole!). There are a couple of pinholes in the monster's left paw, but otherwise the image area is in pretty nice condition. After a simple linenbacking, the poster would look great, and would have little paint anywhere on it! Learn More about condition grades
