Surely it would be the centerpiece of any Audrey Hepburn collection, and it will look wonderful on the wall of a dance studio, restaurant, or any public place! What IS linenbacking? Learn More UPDATED 09/04/2012: Note that large posters are quite difficult to photograph without some slight shadows because of their size. Please know that the minor shadows in the image are from the photography and are in no way on the actual poster. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster was likely never used. It had a tiny bit of surface paper loss in the bridge of Hepburn's nose in the large headshot and some smudges scattered along the top. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and any restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
