The Ghost Breakers, the 1940 George Marshall Havana Cuba murder mystery horror screwball comedy ("Based on a Play by Paul Dickey and Charles W. Goddard"; a wacky story of a radio broadcaster who thinks he's killed somebody, and he ends up hiding in the trunk of a woman on her way to Cuba, where she has inherited a spooky island off the coast, and that is just the beginning of this unusual blend of horror, mystery, and comedy!) starring Bob Hope, Paulette Goddard, Richard Carlson, Paul Lukas, Anthony Quinn, Willie Best, and Noble Johnson (as the zombie!)

Important Added Info: Note that we only previously auctioned one example of this pressbook! Also note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners received pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!

Condition: fair to good, NO CUTS. The pressbook is complete and uncut. It was folded across the middle. The covers are very fragile, and they have tears, creases, and paper loss around the edges (see our images).
