He was first noticed as Vinnie Barbarino in TV's "Welcome Back Kotter", and he went on to a hugely successful movie career. Some of his movies include: Grease, Saturday Night Fever (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Pulp Fiction (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Face/Off, Carrie, and many more! He was married to actress Kelly Preston (who passed away in 2020) and he is a Scientologist (one of their two most famous members, along with Tom Cruise). Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by John Travolta! The signature was obtained in person at the Craig Kilborn Show at CBS Studios. Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves.
