The Ring, the 1927 Alfred Hitchcock English silent boxing sports romantic melodrama starring Carl Brisson, Lillian Hall-Davis, Ian Hunter, Forrester Harvey, Harry Terry, and Gordon Harker (in his second movie role!). Note that this movie was released in October 1927, and then slowly had its first release across Europe over the next three years.
