She got her start in 1957 as the answering service girl in TV's "Richard Diamond, Private Detective", even though only her sexy legs were shown! While best remembered from TV's "The Dick Van Dyke Show" (as Laura Petrie) and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" (as Mary Richards), she also starred in several movies including: Ordinary People (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Flirting with Disaster, and Thoroughly Modern Millie. She passed away in 2017 at the age of 80. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Mary Tyler Moore! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahoney Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
